Yet another thought...

Why do we so badly hurt the person who loves us really but give most happiness to those who will eventually forsake us? Why do we overlook true love? Why do we make the worthy cry and let the unworthy smile?

Why?

This was something I thought about a couple of years ago as well, and I think it's because we want our not-so-loved ones to appreciate loved ones as much as we do. And when they don't "perform" for the crowds, we feel a little... disappointed... perhaps.

@careless chronicles: Thanks for the comment... You know, sometimes I think, we hurt our loved ones becos we love them too much that it starts hurting us in turn.

Its sometimes (always tho), when we take an advantage over them...having a feeling that whatsoever, they will take care of us...perhaps the over-confidence.

Another view is its human insight to give preference to do what one think themselves rather act to what others think....

or maybe its cuz u really care and u dont want them to hurt you back cuz u have totally given urself to them (ignore the cheesiness)

its scary to give urself like that and we want to make sure we did it for the right person and so we hurt them/correct them/insult them..

I have no idea why we hurt them or why some of us are hurt by our loved ones in spite of loving them too much... I wish I knew why...
